Printmaking

Instructor: Will Hatch Crosby
Description: Printmaking is an expansive and exciting part of the visual art world! Through thoughtful planning of layers, colors, and textures, printmakers can create amazing original artwork that can be reproduced multiple times. This ability to make a series of original prints, means that printmaking is a more equitable and accessible form of art. Printmaking is also just really fun because it is collaborative, experimental, and process driven. In this workshop, students will learn a variety of printmaking techniques such as relief printing and screen printing, while also learning about the history of printmaking. Students will become printmakers through a series of projects that will develop their technical and conceptual skills as artists and makers.
