Visual Arts Camp: Making Worlds

Music Performance Camp
June 3-7, 1-5pm, $300
Led by Griffin Music Instructor Ryan Young

Experience the joy of playing music of various genres with other young musicians in a fun, supportive, and engaging environment. At camp, students will prepare and perform songs as a band live onstage after one week of intensive rehearsal. Ryan is a music professional with over 20 years of experience performing, recording, and teaching music to young people. He is dedicated to making you look and sound great onstage in a group setting! Requirements: Ability to play an instrument and/or sing, recognize basic chords, and keep simple beats.

Game Design Camp
June 3-7, 8:30am-12:30pm, $300
Led by Griffin Game Design Instructor Sean Eads

Students will gain a general understanding of video game design and game development through the creation of a simple game using Unity and the programming language C#. No prior experience is necessary. Laptop required.

Printmaking Camp
June 3-7, 1 – 5pm, $300
Led by Griffin Art Instructor Angel Ortega of Garzig Design

Welcome to Printmaking Camp! Campers will learn the basics of stencil printmaking, then create and print their own 1-2 color designs on paper and canvas. Show up to camp ready to have fun and get messy! The inks used for printing are apparel ink. While we’ll be very careful not to spill, we recommend wearing clothes and shoes that you do not mind getting ink on.
