Admissions
We welcome applications from bright students who are seeking a creative and personalized school environment.
Come Check us Out!
We are thrilled that you are considering Griffin School for your high school experience and look forward to connecting! The best way to learn more about us is through one of our fall Open Houses or through a family tour. We host Open Houses in September and October each year but if that time has passed, don't hesitate to reach out to admissions@griffinschool.org to set up a tour. We are flexible and would love to find a time to walk you around campus to give a feel for our learning environment and vibrant community! Tours can happen between 9am and 4pm each weekday.
Application Process
Students applying for the 2025-26 academic year should set up a shadow day. We offer shadow days on Tuesdays, 9am-4:10pm, starting in late September and extending through February. Shadowing students will be matched with a host student and will sit in on a full day of core classes and elective classes, and have a lunch interview with members of our admissions committee.
If you are interested in visiting the school for a tour or setting up a shadow day, please contact our admissions office at 512-454-5797, email admissions@griffinschool.org or contact us through our website form.
The application deadline for 2025-26 admissions is January 22, 2025.

ISEE Test or Assessment
Register for your student to take the ISEE test (enter our ERB code 447620 to have scores sent to us) or schedule to take the Griffin School in-house assessment. We’re offering it one last time on February 1, 2025 at noon. Email admissions@griffinschool.org to register. Sophomores and juniors may submit PSAT, SAT, or ACT scores if they've taken any of those standardized tests.
This might sound like a lot, but it is really a pretty straight-forward and simple process that can be completed in a few days if needed. Just give us a call and our Admissions Director will walk you through the application process.
Tuition
We make every attempt to help families work through the financial barriers that often arise when considering private school tuition expenses. Let us work with you on the financing options that are available. Various tuition payment plans and low-interest tuition loans are offered. In addition, families with financial need may apply for tuition assistance by completing an online aid application. For specific information about current tuition rates, payment schedules, loan programs, and tuition assistance, download a 2024-25 tuition flyer below.
International Students
Griffin School welcomes international student applicants who would like to study in the United States. We are approved to provide I-20 forms for accepted international students seeking to apply for an F-1 Student Visa. The best way to begin the process is by completing the online application, and emailing us to schedule an online interview. Applicants should submit grade reports (translated into English), and results of an English proficiency exam such as the IELTS or TOEFL to admissions@griffinschool.org. In addition to tuition, international students pay an International Student Fee of $1125. If you are interested in starting an application as an international student, please contact our admissions office at 512-454-5797, email admissions@griffinschool.org, or contact us through our website form.
