College Essay Writing Workshop for Rising Seniors
All current Griffin juniors (Class of 2027) are invited to attend a college essay workshop led by Patrick Firme and Darrell Limuel. Students in the workshop will take an idea and create an essay to use for their college applications. The workshop will culminate in a one-on-one session in which a college admission officer will read their essay and give them feedback on how to improve it.
Summer Basketball Training Session - Week 1 (5 days)
Our Summer Basketball Training Sessions will focus on specific skill training, strength and conditioning, and team play. No previous experience is required, and all rising freshmen, sophomores, juniors and seniors are welcome! June 8-12, 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m., $250

Summer Camp - Digital Art
Digital Art Camp, June 8 – 12, 8:30am – 12:30pm, $300, taught by Erin Miller, Griffin Alum and current Arts Faculty; With programs like Procreate, Clip Studio Paint, Autodesk Sketchbook, Krita, and so many more, digital art has become an accessible way for an artist to carry their whole arsenal of tools with them at all times.
Summer Camp - Fashion
Fashion Camp, June 8 – 12, 1 – 5pm, $300, No experience necessary, we will work with the level of experience you bring to the sewing table! Over the course of 5 days, students will learn basic sewing stitches, how to use a sewing machine, draft an outfit, create a miniature version of it utilizing VINTAGE patterns, and then begin creating a one of a kind piece that they can wear based on their miniature design!
Summer Camp - Music Performance
Music Performance Ensemble Camp, June 8 – 12, 1 – 5pm, $300, Teacher: Ryan Young. Experience the joy of playing music of various genres with other young musicians in a fun, supportive, and engaging environment. Students will prepare and perform songs as a band live onstage after one week of intensive rehearsal.
Summer Camp - Printmaking
Printmaking Camp, June 8 – 12, 1 – 5pm, $300, Teacher: Angel Ortega. Campers will learn the basics of screen printing by creating stencils and a DIY mesh frame, and then printing 1-2 color designs on paper & canvas. Show up to camp ready to have fun and get messy!
Summer Camp - Visual Arts - The Art of Making Worlds
Visual Arts Camp: The Art of Making Worlds, June 8 – 12, 8:30am – 12:30pm, $300, Teacher: Johnny Walker; In this camp, students will draw, paint, write, design, and build. All of the things made will be elements of stories. Students will create characters, develop settings, and fabricate objects. Creations will all weave into narratives. Campers will write our stories, sometimes individually, other times as a group and share them as they grow.
