Goal 1: Expand and optimize
Griffin's facilities to meet the growing
needs of the school community
Griffin has outgrown its existing facilities. Improved facilities will allow Griffin to expand the offerings and experiences available to students by ensuring they have the space, resources and opportunities they need to thrive. It will also reduce faculty stress incurred by space constraints such as overlapping programs using the same spaces and lack of adequate classroom and athletic facilities. This will enable faculty to devote more energy to enhancing the curriculum, expanding learning modalities and building relationships with students.
Goal 2: Refine our identity and communicate our school culture, values and who we serve
A strong well-articulated identity enables Griffin School to strengthen its alignment of academic programs, extra curricular activities and support services to effectively meet student needs and build a thriving school community for years to come. It also provides a compelling narrative for fundraising efforts, partnerships and long-term sustainability.
Goal 3: Cultivate and sustain an environment where students thrive
In today's fast-changing world, supporting students physical, mental, and emotional well-being is more important than ever. As they face academic pressures, social challenges and global uncertainties, we must prioritize their holistic development. By regularly assessing their evolving needs, we can implement responsive programs and policies that build resilience, reduce stress, and equip them with the skills to thrive in and beyond the classroom.
Goal 4: Expand and adapt programming to meet the interests and needs of students
By instituting a process for evaluating programming needs we can assure that our offerings stay relevant. This helps maintain student engagement and motivation ensuring they are prepared for future academic and career opportunities in an ever changing world.
