Summer Camps
Half-day Camps for Rising 6th – 9th Graders
Each summer, members of the arts faculty host a one week, half-day camp, aimed to give prospective students an experience on campus, sampling a high school elective course. This summer, we are offering 4 camps: Visual Art (Heroes and Villains, Printmaking, Cinematic Storytelling, and Music Performance Ensemble. All camps will be held the week of June 9 – 13.

Summer Camp - Visual Arts
Visual Arts Camp, June 9 – 13, 8:30am – 12:30pm, $300, Teacher: Johnny Walker, Art & Storytelling: Heroes & Monsters, and Everyone in Between! There are all kinds of characters within stories - good ones, bad ones, and the ones who are somewhere in between. These “in-betweens” are usually the most interesting. Over the course of the week we will try to figure out what makes an engaging character and how the stories we tell often have a lot to say about the world we live in.
