The best way to learn more about Griffin is through an Open House! Join us on Thursday, September 28, 2023 at 5:15pm to tour our campus, meet the students and teachers who make Griffin School a special place, and learn more about our curriculum, culture, and community. If your student is interested in athletics, we invite you to come early to our Trapezoid location just down the street, 5206 Eilers Ave, to hear a presentation from our Athletics Director. RSVP to email@example.com. We will have a second Open House on Thursday, November 2 at the same time for anyone who can’t make the first date!
Students applying for the 2024-25 academic year are welcome to schedule a shadow day for this fall. We offer shadow days on Tuesdays, 8:30am-4pm. Shadowing students will be paired with a host and will sit in on a full day of core classes and elective classes.
The application deadline for 2024-25 admissions is January 22, 2024.
Four Easy Steps:
- Complete our online application, which includes questions for both students and parents. It will include a Records Release form which you can download and give to your current school, and it will ask for the email address of a current teacher who can fill out a quick recommendation form.
- Pay the $50 application fee online.
- Schedule a shadow day for your student to attend a day of classes hosted by one of our current students, and have lunch with members of our Admissions Committee. We offer shadow days on Tuesdays, late September – March.
- Register for your student to take the ISEE test, or arrange to take the Griffin School assessment with us, or submit your PSAT, SAT, or ACT scores if you’ve any of those standardized tests. We are offering our assessment on December 3 and January 21, both days at 9am at our Trapezoid location, 5206 Eilers Ave.
This might sound like a lot, but it is really a pretty straight-forward and simple process that can be completed in a fews days if needed. Just give us a call and our Admissions Director will walk you through the application process.
