Instructors: Ryan Young and Kyle Clayton
Description: In this workshop, students will develop a deeper understanding of their instrument through learning, rehearsing, and recording various rock songs. We will work on all parts of a song (bass, rhythm guitar, lead guitar, and melody) and each student will get opportunities to learn each of those parts. We will also utilize the wonderful recording studio we have at Griffin so that each student will be able to gain valuable experience in a professional recording studio with a professional engineer. Requirements: –Each student will need to have a Zoom audition with Ryan before admittance into the workshop. –Prior knowledge and experience with the guitar; sorry, no beginners for this particular workshop. –A functioning guitar or bass and tuner.
